BUTTERMILK PIE

Ingredients

- 2 eggs

- 2 cups Lowcountry Buttermilk

- 2 cups sugar

- 8 teaspoons flour

- 3/4 teaspoons lemon extract

- 1 9-inch pie crust

Directions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine eggs and buttermilk and beat until well mixed.

2. Add flour and sugar gradually, beating until thoroughly incorporated.

3. Add lemon extract and mix only to blend through.

4. Pour into pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Let cool.
